The Lake Buena Vista Chapter of IAAP was chartered on April 28, 1999, as a new Chapter in the Florida Division chartering with 21 members representing diverse careers and backgrounds. Currently our chapter has 60 members of which eleven are CPS® holders and six are CAP® holders. Our Goals:
• To provide educational resources and opportunities for administrative professionals to achieve and maintain the highest possible level of competence and professional development.
• To define and promote recognition of competence levels and career patterns within the administrative field.
• To promote and provide programs for the certification of professional secretaries.
• To promote recognition for the contributions of administrative professionals to organizational performance and productivity.
• To represent the best interest of the administrative professional to the media, government, business and industry, and the educational community and serve as a resource and information clearinghouse on all aspects of the profession.
• To provide liaison and encourage cooperative action with other associations representing administrative professionals.
• To provide a forum for communication and exchange of ideas among persons working in and preparing for careers in the administrative field.
