You don't need to be certified to join IAAP, but the personal satisfaction of having obtained your certification is very rewarding. 

Check out the other benefits of certification.The Certified Professional Secretary® (CPS®) and the Certified Administrative Professional®(CAP®) certification is awarded to those who successfully pass comprehensive exams in the areas of Office Systems & Technology, Office Administration, Management and Advanced Organizational Management.

The Central Florida IAAP Council is offering an seven week course to assist those interested in obtaining their CPS certification.   The informational session and the first class will be held on September 9, 2008.   Cost is free to IAAP members and $82 for non-members.
